Doctoral (third cycle) studies

Doctoral studies and research at the department are carried out within our research areas.

Our doctoral studies address those who have a genuine interest in biological and environmental sciences. It will give you deeper knowledge in your chosen area, and also the tools to independently formulate problems and critically judge the results.

You will experience an exciting and instructive period of time that in most cases is completed with a doctoral degree.

To be eligible to do doctoral studies at the University of Gothenburg, you must satisfy both general and special entry requirements.
