Forskningsintressen

My research interests concern the endocrine regulation of growth and development, mainly the role of the growth hormone (GH) – insulin-like growth factor I (IGF-I) system. My research has been on the roles these hormones play in larval development, metamorphosis and growth of flatfishes, as well as in growth, energy balance and puberty of salmonids. and how the GH-IGF-I system interacts with other hormone systems. Recently, my focus has also been on ligand-receptor-binding protein interactions.
