Research

I am working with chaperones and proteases from the Clp family, from cyanobacteria (Synechococcus elongatus PCC 7942) and Arabidopsis thaliana. With the help of DNA cloning, over-expression, protein purification and different in vitro biochemical assays I am studying the function and structure of Clp proteins. I also work with the Clp proteins in vivo.
