Vesicle trafficking inside chloroplasts with emphasis on CPSAR1

Overview of the work

The aim of my project is to identify the molecular events that drives the newly verified chloroplast localized vesicular transport systems for lipids/proteins, with an emphasis on the novel GTPases CPSAR1(Secretion-associated and Ras-related)(CP=chloroplast localized). The main work has been focused on possible protein-protein interactions between CPSAR1 and unknown proteins and crystallization studies of over-expressed CPSAR1.
